Zukuri Projekt

When it comes to upgrading the style of 1:64 diecast cars, Zukuri Projekt is a name that’s gaining serious traction. Since August 2023, the brand has been making waves by crafting high-detail custom wheels that don’t just enhance diecast cars—they connect the miniature world with full-sized car culture.
“We wanted to make 1/64 cars look better, more attractive to the eye,” they shared. “And beyond that, we saw this as a bridge between the small-scale car hobby and the real-life automotive world.”
🛞 The First Wheel: TE37 Non-Rolling
Zukuri’s debut design was a non-rolling version of the iconic Rays Volk TE37, one of the most loved wheel styles in both motorsports and street scenes. It was a bold start—and one that laid the foundation for what’s become a growing library of scaled-down legends.
🎓 From Industrial Design to 3D Mastery
The founder of Zukuri Projekt brings in a background in industrial design from university, with a self-taught edge in 3D modeling. That combo of formal structure and creative freedom plays a key role in how each wheel is developed—from concept to final product.
Every wheel starts with research—not just picking a design, but understanding what cars it’s used on, how it’s shaped, and how it feels. Then comes 3D modeling using CAD software, followed by refining and preparing files for 3D printing. Once printed, the wheels go through painting, assembly, QC, and finally packaging.
Their materials of choice? 3D printing resin for precision and aluminum barrels for realism and durability.
🔧 Focused on the Icons, Made for Everyone
While Zukuri Projekt isn’t tied to one specific style, they lean heavily toward replicating wheels that exist in real life—especially ones popular internationally. “We want to make designs that the majority of people recognize and love,” they said. “So we’re not limiting ourselves to a certain look—we want every release to feel exciting.”
At one point, Zukuri offered custom orders, including one-offs in custom colors or specs. But with their current focus on mass production and reseller distribution, custom work is off the table for now. “Custom orders just weren’t efficient anymore in terms of time and cost,” they explained.
🥇 Most Memorable Build: Porsche 992 GT3 RS Weissach
Of all their creations, the most memorable project was the Porsche 992 GT3 RS Weissach wheels. “That one was extremely difficult for us,” they recalled. “We were still transitioning to a new workshop, our design skills were still growing, and it took about a week just to build the model—plus revisions.”
But that wheel marked a turning point. It was the start of a new era for Zukuri’s design quality, and it helped shape the standards they maintain today.
🤝 Collaboration Highlight: Zukuri x 64Hub
One of Zukuri Projekt’s standout collabs was with 64Hub, resulting in a limited-edition Work Emotion GT6 3P in a stunning Caluma Violet (Pearlescent/Chameleon 3-tone) finish. A flashy release with a strong collector vibe—it was a true fusion of style and exclusivity.
🌏 The Community Is Booming
Zukuri has a front-row seat to the growth of the Indonesian diecast and diorama scene. “It’s growing really fast,” they said. “More people are joining in, customizing, photographing, connecting in meetups, and making art.”
They’re also excited about how many diorama makers are emerging, and they believe that Indonesia’s work is on par with international standards.
🔭 The Big Vision
For Zukuri, this isn’t just about wheels—it’s about lifestyle. “We hope the 1:64 wheel industry in Indonesia becomes a real connection point between the diecast scene and the real automotive world,” they said. “This isn’t just a hobby—it’s a culture.”
🔧 What’s Next?
Currently, they’re working on staggered-size wheels for Ferrari models, and planning an upcoming release focused on VIP-style cars. Sounds like there’s a lot to be excited about in the pipeline.
